Last Friday the enviro group had guest speaker, Erin, come to talk to the group about Power Shift. Power Shift is a national youth climate summit held in Sydney on July 11th – 13th July . The conference will bring together 3,000 young people from all around Australia for 3 days of decisive action on climate change. Participants will learn about being an environmental leader through training on things such as public speaking, leadership development, campaign strategy etc. There will also be a range of public speakers and well known Australia bands and artists to energise and help celebrate the movement to solve climate change. The drawing has to be on an environmental issue. All entries to be handed into the library, awesome prizes to be won!
