Please find below the timetable for practice exam week for the second week of the September school holidays for Year 12s. It tries to find a balance between making exams authentic and minimising class time lost.
Summary:
- English exam is on Monday 26th September (3 hours).
- All other subjects are in their blocks- make sure you go to the right one (check teacher’s name).
- Two exams per day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (6 sessions-One block per session).
- 1 hour Maths non technology exam (Methods, Specialist) and multiple choice exam (Further) will be done in school time.
- Students must stay until the end of their exam time. This may be 90 min, 120 min or 150 minutes. See your teacher.
- All exams have a 15 minute reading time.
- Exams will be held in Galvin Hall unless timetable specifies otherwise.
- Students must catch up any missed exam in a block where they have no exam. They must make individual arrangements with their teacher, which needs to be done prior to the holiday period.
- Each block allows for a 2 ½ hour exam but students will leave after their designated time.
Alternate arrangements for some subjects:
- Indonesian, Japanese, Theatre Studies VET Music and VET Dance are not included in this practice exam timetable.
- Multimedia will complete the practice exam at another time.
