Go Girl, Go 4 IT

Go Girl, Go 4 IT has been a fantastic day for the 45 students from Wodonga Senior Secondary College and Wodonga Middle Years College where misconceptions and assumptions about careers in the IT industry have been smashed. “IT is not just a boys game” stated Sophie Blachford from Instagram. “It is an ever evolving industry where the rules and sterotypes are being rewritten.” The event was held at Deakin University Burwood campus on Tuesday August 16th.

Through participation in a wide range of Workshops and Keynote Speakers, students were exposed to the many IT entrepreneurs shaping what it now means to #BeTheNerd.
