Congratulations on choosing Wodonga Senior Secondary College to finish your formal years of schooling. Orientation Week at the College will be held from Monday December 9 to Thursday December 12, 2019.
Orientation Week will help you/your child:
- Learn more about the College, facilities and supports available
- Form connections, make friends and get involved in the College
- Get to know your chosen subjects
- Discover activities you can engage in at the College.
On Friday, December 13, Wodonga Senior Secondary College staff will be conducting transition interviews with all students. This is a great opportunity for students and parents/carers to meet with their Graduate Teacher for 2020. Confirmation of appointment times will be mailed to each family by Friday, December 6.
We encourage all Year 9 students transitioning to Wodonga Senior Secondary College to attend all events throughout this week.
All Year 9 students transitioning to Year 10 are to meet in the Lecture Theatre, Wodonga Senior Secondary College at 8.55am Monday 9th December 2019.
Students are required to wear their sports uniform and appropriate footwear for movement throughout the week.
Students will need to bring:
- Hat and drink bottle
- Medicare card or copy of Medicare card (Required as proof for Unique Student Identifier)
- Pen or pencil and paper
It is imperative that all families have returned the Student Enrolment Information Form to the College before appointment times are mailed for Transition Interviews. This is a legal requirement from the Department of Education & Training. If this form has not been returned ( with changes/additions) WSSC may have incorrect information about your child.
