While 2020 has not gone to plan for many of us, Wodonga Senior Secondary College continues to reach for our goals. Today the College is pleased to announce that we are looking for suitable contractors to:
- Develop Galvin Hall into a Performing Arts Space;
- Construct a two-court basketball Stadium with amenities and teaching spaces; and
- Lay paving and car parking.
We have seen just how vital our facilities are to students this year. Even though the College has done an outstanding job of delivering VCE and VCAL subjects remotely, students have still needed to access the facilities on-site to complete many of their subjects.
The upgrading of the College’s Art’s facilities and the construction of the stadium will be a fantastic addition to the facilities at the College for our students and the community.

HEAD CONTRACTORS – NEW BASKETBALL STADIUM AND GALVIN HALL REFURBISHMENT
Expressions of interest are sought from suitable contractors to undertake works at Wodonga Senior Secondary College comprising:
- Alterations and additions to Galvin Hall to develop a Performing Arts space
- Construction of a new 2-court basketball stadium including amenities, teaching spaces and store-rooms
- Civil works including paving and carparking

Submissions are to demonstrate the contractor’s ability to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated successful recent experience in delivering projects of similar size, type, value and complexity
- Demonstrated achievement of satisfactory work quality within required timeframes
- Financial capacity to manage these works
- Commitment to the use of local workforce and materials
- Pre-qualification to the Department of Treasury and Finance Victoria Construction Supplier Register.

The Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 applies to the building work associated with this project. By submitting an expression of interest in this project, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016.
