Dear Parents/Carers and Students,
We are pleased to inform you that VCE VM mock interviews will be held on the 19th and 20th of June 2023. This is a valuable opportunity for students to build their job interview skills and contribute to their WRS Unit 2 course outcome.
To book the mock interview, students will need to book online with their classroom teacher. The interviews will be conducted by their WRS teacher and a member of the careers team. These interviews are an essential part of the WRS Unit 2 AoS 1 outcome, and attendance is mandatory.
During the interview, students will have the chance to showcase their skills, receive feedback, and learn about potential job opportunities. The data from the interviews will be uploaded to the school portal to generate a report of the students. This information will be used to assess their progress and provide guidance on their career path.
We will also be hosting another round of mock interviews during Week 9 of Term 3. This round of interviews will include a panel of WRS teachers and members of the community, such as a job agency member. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain exposure to the job market and learn about the expectations of employers.
Please encourage your child to attend these mock interviews, as they are crucial in developing their job interview skills and building their confidence. Thank you for your continued support in your child’s education.
