The Story
A new story is ready to take flight.
When small-town musician Lester Lawrence heads to the city in search of fame, he is transformed into the spectacularly ridiculous Birdman as part of a crooked corporate scheme. Years later, with his hometown facing destruction, Lester and his former manager Evelyn must reunite, expose the truth and bring one very unlikely hero back from the dead. Evie & the Birdman is a colourful musical comedy packed with romance, catchy songs, corporate chaos and plenty of feathers.
This section can introduce Evie, the Birdman, the setting and the central conflict without revealing too much of the story.
