{"id":26320,"date":"2016-10-04T16:34:45","date_gmt":"2016-10-04T05:34:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wssc.vic.edu.au\/?p=26320"},"modified":"2018-11-15T09:26:38","modified_gmt":"2018-11-14T22:26:38","slug":"26320","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wssc.vic.edu.au\/?p=26320","title":{"rendered":"P-plate Inquiry Hearing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students from Wodonga Senior Secondary College shared their opinions at the Victorian parliamentary P-plate inquiry hearing\u00a0looking at lowering the age in which you can obtain your probationary license.<\/p>\n<p>From the students in attendance, the consensus was unanimous, agreeing that the driving age should be lowered to 17 in Victoria giving them the same opportunity as the youth in New South Wales.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt had been previously indicated that the legal driving age should be lowered from 18 to 17 for the purposes of employment\u201d said Murray Thompson MP.
