The culmination of a years work for our talented VCE Unit 3 & 4 Studio Arts and Photography students was showcased on Friday night as part of the 2018 Wodonga Senior Secondary College Kaleidoscope Exhibition. The yearly fixture in the College calendar is highly anticipated as students have been developing their own unique artistic styles whilst working on their portfolio pieces in the year-long process under the guidance of teachers Erin Dixon and Eric Saros.<\/p>\n

This years exhibition was launched on Friday 12th<\/sup> of October by Bronwen Garner, Curator at Art Space Wodonga and received great support from our College community who attend the launch to celebrate the fabulous artwork created by the students this year. Our Arts students took the opportunity to speak with guests about their pieces, explaining the processes involved in the creation of the artwork, with many pieces using texture, 3-dimensional elements on display.<\/p>\n

Saying \u201cAn event like the Kaleidoscope exhibition is helping bridge the gap between the public and art galleries\u201d, promoting the accessibility of modern art galleries such as Art Space Wodonga to everyone in the community.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s important that we work with schools, through those connections they can access great education\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvents like Kaleidoscope are essential for our young artists\u201d, \u201cit helps to get their work out there, outside of the studio\u201d.<\/p>\n
