Year 10 Upper Hume Basketball

Our Year 10 boys Upper Hume Basketball team started out the day against Marian College and managed to claw back a 10 point deficit to come out with a draw. In the second game again the wildcard Cathedral College the boys found their groove and came away with a strong 12 point victory which set them up for a showdown with Wodonga Middle Years College. Starting strong from the outset, WSSC shocked WMYC and ran away to win by 30 points. In the final our boys went in as underdogs against a formidable Galen squad who went into the day as highly fancied favourites. After scrapping away and giving it everything they had, WSSC fell by 2 points in a game that came down to the final shot. It was a herculean effort from all the boys against a quality opponent.
