Your journey to Year 10 at WSSC starts in Term 3.
- Read the Transition Handbook you’ll receive in the mail
- Attend the Year 9 Assembly and ask questions
- Attend Connect and learn about Year 10 subjects, pathways and opportunities
- Think about your strengths, interests and future goals
- Attend WSSC ‘On Show’ and seek advice on subjects and tour the Senior College
- Complete your Year 10 draft subject selections
- Talk with your Connect teachers, mentors and family about subjects and pathways
- Attend the subject selection interview with WSSC and your parent/carer at your campus
- Build strong study habits and organisation skills
- Stay on top of your learning and ask for help if needed
- Attend the Information Communication & Technology session at WSSC
- Order your laptop
- Return your Enrolment Form to WSSC
- Attend the Year 9 WSSC tours, Transition Day and Headstart
- Connect with WSSC teachers at the Transition Interview meeting
- Have your laptop, uniform and stationery ready to go Day 1
- Embrace new challenges, stay positive and excel in what the Senior College has to offer
- You’re ready for an amazing year!
