Images for Dramatic Black and White Photography
September 2020
The Unit 1 Studio Art class completed a task on Dramatic Black and White Photography while we were in Remote Learning. The students used a range of props and lighting techniques to create shadows and dramatic poses in their work.

“My concept was hope and goodness. I came up with this to show there is many pathways in life and there is a light at the end of the path. I used my iPhone 8 to take the photograph and fairy lights as the light source. I got my subject to hold the lights around the focus point, the eyes and used a pitch black room so there was no excess light.” – Ashtyn Saddington
Studio Art
