We would like to acknowledge how all students have conducted themselves in a respectful and considerate manner during this difficult week and we thank you for supporting your children.

As getting back into a normal routine is an important part of the grieving process we will be ensuring the school operates as normal from next Monday (1st June).  This means a return to normal school expectations such as full school uniform and attending all scheduled classes

Some young people may remain greatly impacted, so taking some time off school (particularly on the day of the funeral) is appropriate.  If you are concerned about your child, please contact the school for advice. Alternatively, please contact one of the following services:

  • GP – your usual doctor can help with a whole range of physical and mental health issues
  • Parentline – Victoria, Parentline can be reached on 13 22 89 from 8am to midnight 7 days a week, NSW Parent Line can be reached on 1300 1300 52 from 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday
  • ‘eheadspace’, the online and telephone version of Headspace, which is available 24/7. The website is www.eheadspace.org.au and the phone number is 1800 650 890.
  • Kids Helpline 1800 55 1800
