Dear Parents/Guardians/Students
Welcome to and congratulations on what we are hoping has been a very successful and productive Head Start Program at Wodonga Senior Secondary College for 2016.
Please take the time to read the information below in relation to activities at WSSC over the coming few days.
For this week only, we have swapped the timetables of Thursday and Friday. Therefore all classes that were to be run on Friday, will now be taking place on the Thursday.
In addition to this Friday (using the Thursday timetable), will run as follows:
- Period 1 – 8:55am – 9:40am
- Period 2 – 9:40am – 10:25
- Recess – 10:25am – 11:00
- Presentation Assembly – 11:00 – 12:00pm
BBQ lunch provided at the conclusion of the awards ceremony. Students are permitted to leave during this time with the permission of, or accompaniment of parents.
Students without consent will be supervised at school until 3:20pm
Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th December – Students are not required at either WSSC or WMYC.
During this time we have scheduled interviews for all new students. Please contact the college if you have not received your appointment information in the mail. Also, Parents of students on the Year 9 camp are encouraged to attend the interview in their child’s absence.
On behalf of Wodonga Middle Years College I would also like to relay the following information.
- Students attending Year 9 Camp need to be at the Wilson street bus stop at 12:00pm on Monday
- Graduation tickets – Please make an effort to get to WMYC and purchase a grad ticket ASAP as catering needs to be finalised.
- Students will be working on year 10 work from WSSC on return to WMYC
- WMYC Huon Sports League final series will be played in the final week of school, please make sure you are present
