OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR YEAR 12 STUDENTS TO PLAN AND PREPARE FOR 2017 AND BEYOND:
The following are services open to all Year 12’s. Year 12 students not doing exams have an excellent opportunity to “beat the rush” in getting ready for employment.

OPPORTUNITIES TO PREPARE FOR EMPLOYMENT:

1. Visit from Employment agencies on Monday September 5

 You may start registration
Check out how they can help gain an apprenticeship, traineeship, or other paid employment

2. Work Experience

Students are able to gain school-sponsored work experience until Thursday December 15. See Jim Morris or Jacob Mildren for full details

3. Resume and letter of application

Students may work on these and have them checked until the end of the school year, Thursday December 15

OPPORTUNITIES TO RESEARCH TAFE COURSES:

1. Visits from Wodonga TAFE

Trina Judge from Wodonga TAFE is available here for interviews, each Friday from 10.30 am until 1.00 pm throughout Term 2, and in the first two weeks of Term 3

2. Visits from Riverina TAFE

Kylie Hruz from Riverina TAFE is available here for interviews, each Monday from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm throughout Term 2

Wodonga Skills and Jobs Centre, TAFEspace, next to Wodonga Library, Lawrence Street Wodonga

MyGov: They are visiting school on Monday August 22 to explain to our Year 12s:

• How to register with MyGov
