As a College we value student feedback as part of our ongoing improvement process, this feedback has prompted us to structure our curriculum delivery differently from traditional high school programs.

At our College, students will undertake their year 10 program over six months, with the view of taking 2 and a half years to complete their full VCE or VCAL program.
Our College motto is Every Student, Every Opportunity, Success for All.
This curriculum structure model allows us to address the needs of all students to ensure that they have every opportunity to achieve their best outcomes. There are many benefits of our curriculum structure including:

  • Increasing engagement for year ten students by allowing them to start their chosen pathway six months earlier.
  • Reducing the pressure on year eleven and twelve students by allowing them to complete their programs over two and a half years instead of the traditional two.
  • Providing more time for teachers to work individually with students to achieve their best academic results.

The course selection process for developing a year 10 program is quite simple. Year ten students undertake core studies in English, Humanities, Maths and Science.
Highly academic students have the opportunity to select one or more of our advanced core studies. Enrolment into these advanced studies is based upon academic entry requirements. Year ten students also participate in the College Graduate Program. This program is designed to establish a strong sense of community and develop personal attributes essential to being a successful member of society.

Year ten students will complete their program with a selection of two electives, electives can be chosen from a broad range of Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Health, Physical Education, Languages, Food, Computing, Materials Technology and Systems Technology subjects.
