Today students from the College joined the Community in a Walk Against Family Violence, with an aim to raise awareness of it within our society. The event saw local leaders wihtin the community speak about their experiences and how it needs to be addressed, concluding the event everyone was invited to a sausage sizzle held at Junction Square in Wodong’s CBD.

The group started the awareness walk from St Stephen’s Uniting Church and finished at Junction Place with Police officers and local businesses joining in for the walk. It was great to see the communitys support on display today as a society we say no to family violence.
