Careers in the Army

Students had the opportunity to attend an Australian Army careers session during lunch on Thursday. This event provided valuable information for students that are looking into pursuing a career with the defence force, giving insight into the many fields that you can specialise in. Presenter and Training Sergeant Major EARLES spoke to the group about the purpose of the Australian Army and the role that it plays in protecting trade and international commerce, reinforcing the key values that they apply to their duties.

There session covered the many pathways into the defence force and the fitness entry requirements. This is the second opportunity in the last month that students have been able to learn more about careers in the defence force with the first held last term at the Army Logistics Training Centre.
