Wanumarru House leader Jordan Ross was announced as recipient of the 2018 Principals Award at the Semester 1 Student Achievement assembly held earlier this week, where more than 80 achievements were recognised accross a range of academic, community service and diligence categories. Jordan has been an exemplar role model for his peers, receiving a semester 1 Grade Point Average of 4.0 and has represented the College with great pride, speaking at the 2018 Wodonga ANZAC Day dawn service just to name a few of his achievements.

Joining the Student Leadership Council this year as a Year 10 student representative, Jordan has been involved in organising many student-led activities from casual clothes days to collaborating with other student leaders to collect data on how students prefer to learn and present this back to staff as part of the Teach the Teacher Program.

Once the school day is over Jordan attends regular meeting as a member of a Youth Reference Group in conjunction with Headspace and Gateway Health Wodonga to assist with the direction of mental health support in our region.

Congratulations Jordan and and all the best with your studies over the next two years.
