Last Thursday our College celebrated it’s diversity on Wear it Purple day with the support of Way Out Wodonga, a local LGBTQI+ support group. The event held in conjunction with the College LGBTQI+ student committee aimed to promote what makes our College unique adding a splash of colour to the school.

The event also unveiled a new series of posters which were designed by young people from around our region to promote inclusivity, the three poster designs will be displayed throughout our community. The posters were on display at the launch, Teacher and event organiser Steven Scammell saying “it’s great to finally have the posters on show in a public space, it’s take a while from the initial concept with Way Out Wodonga and Gateway Health”.

Students had an opportunity to speak with committee members about the various programs that they can get involved with and learn a little bit more about the services and support available within our region.
