Dear Parent/Guardian,
On Friday 26th April all students will be taking part in a Respectful Relationships day at Wodonga Senior Secondary College.

Respectful Relationships is a Department of Education initiative to promote and model respect, positive attitudes and behaviours. It teaches our students how to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence. Everyone involved in our school community deserves to be respected, valued and treated equally. We know that changes in attitudes and behaviours can be achieved when positive attitudes, behaviours and equality are lived across the school community, and when classroom learning is reinforced by what is modelled in our school community.

The day will be made up of 2 sessions:

  • Self Esteem & Positive Peer – Presented by The Reach Foundation
  • How to be a good LGBTIQ+ ally – Presented by Wayout Wodonga

Students are not required to wear school uniform on the day but as always should dress appropriately. We would encourage students to dress for comfort and participation in activities.
There will be staff v. student activities and a FREE sausage sizzle at lunch time.
Please contact the House Leaders if you have any questions or concerns.

Yours Sincerely,
Mark Smit
Assistant Principal – Student Operations
