Hi I’m Chelsea and I’m one of your Nangwiya House captains for 2019. Take this opportunity to look back and reflect on all that you have achieved throughout Term 2.

Our term began with our Respectful Relationships Day, where students came together in various activities to promote respect, positive attitudes and behaviours.

Each year, Wodonga City Council hosts the Red Carpet Youth Awards, these aim to recognise and acknowledge the contributions of young people and the difference they make within our community. This year we have an outstanding 35 students nominated for the award. An awards presentation will be held later in the year to celebrate the achievements of the finalists.

In Week 9, we celebrated the rich and diverse culture of our College community at our annual Multicultural Day. Students and staff enjoyed a lunch with dishes from around the globe hosted by our Hospitality and EAL students. Finishing the day off with some activities arranged by Wanumarru House as part of a Graduate Program Impact Project.

Rehearsals for our 2019 school production of Roald Dahl’s Matilda are underway. Tickets are now on sale and a link to purchase the tickets can be found on the college website.

We’ve had an amazing semester. I hope you have a great start to semester 2 and I look forward to representing you as your House Leader in 2019.
