The Amateur Performance Theatre (APT) Awards – Border Region, are new awards that have been created to recognise the wide breadth of talent in the theatre community of the Border region. Wodonga Senior Secondary College’s 2019 Production of Matilda: The Musical, was nominated in five different categories and took home all five awards.
These included:
- Best Youth/School Production
- Achievement in Direction: Tanya Gower
- Achievement in Production
- Achievement in Stage Management
- Best Young Performer: Holly Kupa (Mrs Wormwood)
