Have you seen our new indigenous garden? This has been in the planning stage since 2014 when we were initially successful in gaining a small grant from Charles Sturt University and we’re excited to be able to finally bring our vision to life. The project started back in 2015, with the Koorie Graduate Program commenced the planning of the garden layout with assistance from Michael Bogie, a parent of one of the group.

Now that we have the landscaping and most of the planting completed, the current Koorie Graduate Program group will design appropriate seating for a yarning circle and works of art for the walls surrounding the garden. Apart from the initial funding, we extend our thanks to the College council and some other outside agencies for providing additional financial support from which will enable us to continue to the development of the space this year.
