As part of Indigenous Literacy Day, we’re hosting a week of activities that you can get involved in, running from Monday August 29th to Friday September 2nd. This will conclude with an interschool game of Marngrook, traditionally played with a possum skin ball. Find out more about the activities below.

Monday

Story telling experience and dreamtime stories in the lecture Theatre during lunchtime.

Tuesday

Development of welcome posters for the school/ Torres Strait Islander posters in L03 (Library) during lunchtime.

Wednesday

Connection to country activities and House totem Koorie art workshop in VA4 during lunchtime.

Thursday

Marngrook tournament – invitation only.

Friday

Principals Short Story Award writing workshop in the seminar room during lunchtime.
