Home / News / Special Announcements / 2024 Central Australia Trip – Expression of Interest

Dear Parents/Carers,

Next year (2024) Wodonga Senior are hoping to run the bi-annual Central Australia program in July (second week of school holidays, first week of Term 3), total of 16 days.

The trip is open to 40 students across Year 10 – 12 from WSSC. Students do not need to be an Outdoor Ed student, however, they need to be someone who likes adventure, travel, be happy to sleep in a tent and be away from home for 16 days.

This survey, is for the parents / carers, to give us a more accurate ‘expression of interest’, to determine if we have enough students / families interested to run the trip. At this stage, we are chasing genuine interest as we are needing to commit to going ahead with planning the trip or not, based on student numbers.

Please only click the ‘YES’ button (Question 5) if your child is serious about wanting to attend. Please chat to your child before completing this survey.

For more information, view the attached proposed itinerary and view the video from the 2018 Central Aus trip found within the survey to provide an insight into what the trip would be like. If you would like further information, please contact Beth Powell (pob@www.wssc.vic.edu.au) or contact the school (02) 6043 7500.

The final trip cost has yet to be determined, however, an estimate cost of the 16-day adventure is $4,000.

Click here to access the survey. Please complete this survey by Monday 19th June. (It should only take a couple of minutes)
