WSSC Philosophy Club

We are starting a Philosophy Club at WSSC!

If you are someone who wonders about things and would enjoy expanding your perspective by talking with other curious ‘wonderers’, join the Philosophy Club at WSSC.

You will learn how to express your views using logic and reasoning while pondering life’s biggest questions.

During your time in the Philosophy Club we will consider ethical issues and questions about what is ‘real’, exploring the mysteries of existence and how can we ‘know’ anything. Occasionally we will watch films such as the Matrix and The Truman Story to consider these questions. Sometimes we might sit under a tree and challenge our ideas about Time and Identity. We will engage in activities that will help develop your logic and reasoning skills with other like-minded students in a fun but challenging environment.

If you are interested please join us in L02 on Wednesdays, period 4 starting 7 February to expand your mind!
