Year 10 Debating Team

Wodonga Senior Secondary College is starting a Year 10 debating team this year!

If you are passionate about big issues affecting young people today, we want you. If you are considering a career in law, health, business, or education, we want you. If you want to improve your confidence and your public speaking skills, we want you.

We will run the debating club during period 4 each Wednesday. In the debating club, you will discuss interesting topics and practise your public speaking skills within a supportive team and, at the end of our coaching sessions, compete against other schools.

Bring some friends along and join us in L01 on Wednesday – period 4 (Student Agency) to learn about the Albury Wodonga debating competition and our new debating club. Don’t worry – there won’t be any pressure to get up and speak in our first session!
