SUBJECT DISPLAYS & INFORMATION

Wodonga Senior Secondary College has the broadest range of subjects in the Region. Come along to WSSC ‘On Show’ and see these subjects on display. You will be able to access additional information and speak with the subject specialist at the College. Current and previous students will be available to talk about their experience of the subject and future pathways.

Year 10 Information Session

These sessions will provide excellent information on the following:

  • The Senior College philosophy
  • The benefits of a ‘later years’ focus
  • Year 10 structure
  • Senior pathways – VCE / VCAL / VET
  • Workplace opportunities
  • Learning technologies

Career Conversations

Learn the art of having a career conversation at home. This session will give you the tools and resources you need to learn the very important skill of talking about post-school options. This session is great for students and parents/carers.

Pathways After Year 12

Come and hear from the Careers@WSSC Team about navigating pathways post Year 12. Learn about the labour market and skills shortage areas as well as early entry, apprenticeships, scholarships and much more.

Accessing VCE Study Resources

Among other things, the COVID-19 lockdowns have resulted in a gap in educational outcomes between metropolitan and rural/regional students. To help bridge this gap, there is a wide variety of free educational resources available to our students. This session will give you an overview of these resources, how and when they can be accessed, and how they can help students to achieve their full academic potential without any additional financial outlay.

College Tours

Wodonga Senior Secondary College has outstanding teaching and learning facilities. The best way to see and experience these facilities is to participate in a personalised College tour. While touring the College, you will also be able to appreciate the supportive and aspirational culture of the Senior College. A tour is also an excellent opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about the College.
